The Kilroys
The Kilroys is a collective of LA- and NYC-based theater artists who are done talking about gender bias and are taking action. We mobilize others in our field by producing the List, an annual industry survey of excellent new plays by women, trans, and non-binary playwrights. It is a tool for producers committed to ending the systemic underrepresentation of such writers in the American theater.

Maestra
MAESTRA MUSIC, INC. was founded by composer/lyricist and music director Georgia Stitt to give support, visibility, and community to the women who make the music in the musical theater industry. Since women are under-represented in musical theater, our membership is made up of female-identifying composers, music directors, orchestrators, arrangers, copyists, rehearsal pianists and other musicians. The organization’s initiatives include monthly educational seminars, mentorship programs, technical skills workshops, networking events, and online resources and partnerships that aim to promote equality of opportunity and to address the many historical disadvantages and practices that have limited women composers and musicians in the musical theater.

Parity Productions is a formidable producer of new work, and we also ensure that we fill at least 50% of the creative roles on our productions—playwrights, directors, and designers—with cis women and trans and gender nonconforming (TGNC) artists. In addition to producing our own work, we actively promote other theatre companies that follow our 50% hiring standard. Artistically, we develop and produce compelling new plays that give voice to individuals who rebel against their marginalized place in society.

SPACE on Ryder Farm
SPACE on Ryder Farm is a nonprofit residency program and organic farm located on the grounds of a 224-year-old family homestead in Putnam County, New York, just an hour north of New York City. SPACE’s mission is to create an environment singular in its ability to invigorate artists and innovators and their work, and to contribute to the sustainability and resourceful preservation of one of the oldest organic family farms on the East Coast. SPACE’s Family Residency, founded in association with the Lilly Awards Foundation, provides artist parents (predominantly mothers) with a one-week residency that includes educational and creative programming for their children.

Billie Burke Ziegfeld Award
The Billie Burke Ziegfeld Award is a $10,000 cash grant along with a year of professional mentorship given annually to an emerging female composer.  
The Liz Swados Inspiration Grant is a $5,000 cash award given to a NYC based female educator of music.

The Hearth
The Hearth tells the stories of women. Estrogenius Festival
The EstroGenius Festival is the longest running festival celebrating the work of women and gender non-conforming artists in NYC.  Begun in Manhattan Theatre Source in 2000 as a short-play festival, the festival has launched and supported hundreds of artists of all mediums in its 19 years. 
In concurrence with the inclusive values the festival was founded on, the executive team focuses on art generated, written, directed, choreographed, composed and performed by artists who expand the definition of a women’s festival.  The producers strive to create a full, empowering, festival dedicated to a community that hears, sees and celebrates women, gender non-conforming and non-binary artists in all of their dynamic diversity.

Parent Artist Advocacy League (PAAL)
Parent Artist Advocacy League for the Performing Arts works to elevate the  standard of best practice supporting parent-artists and caregivers in the performing arts by providing childcare grants, collecting and developing resources to improve institutional support efficacy, including through our national handbook of best practices and national list of family-friendly theatres, and growing a national community of local parent-artist and caregiver support chapters.
